The name of this sign is Trickle Down Blame! This mess started when they took away the Gold Standard, the inception of NAFTA, and the Shock and Awe of 2003 "Trillion$" and thousands of lives. Can you imagine if you moved into a filthy run down home, and an old friend showed up and thought you were the one who made the mess? However I am still not convinced that either of the major party players have our best interest at heart. Discerning the evidence, they are both Big Corp Puppets.

 I really dislike when people disseminate crap like a photo that was flipped horizontally to make it appear as though they had their left hand over their hearts. The photo below is correct not the crumby fake one going around. People need to start tackling the real issues instead of this crap.

Here is a site that lists his achievements while in office: http://obamaachievements.org/  I might add that to my knowledge he has made some decisions that do not say clean energy in any way shape or form (Drilling and Pipeline), he has appeased the Big Corp insurance companies with his health care reform, and if he truly has overhauled our food safety system there would no longer be GMO fruits and vegetables, pink slime, aspartame (affects the neurological system)  in so many things including the majority of chewing gum, hormone injected beef cattle, hormone injected milk producing cattle, and on and on.  Then again none of the GOP candidates have done anything to stop Big Corp from destroying our nation and world.  

The Financial State of this country did not happen in the past four years.  I also can not understand what has happened to the conscience of the average American who may be more concerned over tax dollars spent on improving the infrastructure and helping the unemployed, under employed, education, and the indigent of this nation, yet disregard the trillions spent by the previous administration on protecting the "Oil Baron Interests" in the Middle East.  


President Obama has also made some decisions that I do not approve of, but understand that the majority of Americans think are right.  I am not pro choice, but I consider that an issue between me and my God.(GOP Judge Harry Blackmun made abortion legal during the GOP President Nixon administration).  I also believe more education in self esteem, and decision making is needed.  So much money spent on protecting "Oil Interests" in the Middle East while millions of Americans are self medicating with drugs and alcohol.  If our nation is at risk; Big Pharma is more dangerous than Muslims, Illegal Immigrants, and the only terrorists are those selling Heroin to our kids. 


What is creating this need for so many pharmaceuticals to medicate the mind?  Could Chemtrails be real?  I am truly beginning to wonder?

MINING AND SUSTAINABILITY

25,000 people walking 700 kilometers for 2 weeks in Ecuador. WHY? Because their food and water livelihoods are dwindling. WHY? Because mining uses enormous amounts of water, the mine "Mirador“ on the border of Peru uses up some astonishing 140 LITRES OF WATER PER SECOND. These add up to two million litres per day which are removed from the surrounding rivers and as a result are not available in the neighboring areas. This is a huge problem as the local population is depending on this water for farming and rearing of livestock. The mine "Mirador“ is just one of many such projects in Equador but also in every country...

Who Is To Blame, Should This Child Be Punished As An Adult?

After throwing a temper tantrum in kindergarten a six year old girl was handcuffed and arrested for simple assault and battery.

 My Opinion on this story: Well, the six year old children when we were younger weren't fed hormone pumped up meat, hormone laden milk, corn syrup laden snacks, pink mystery meats, and genetically modified fruits and vegetables! However, I do believe that very often there is lack of adult supervision and proper decision making skills shown to them at home. Even the school's lunch menu could be harmful to the child's ability to cope and behave properly.  This child was punished for the sins of the adults in this society. While I don't agree with the choice the school made, it may very well be this child's future as an adult if she isn't helped out of this behavior now.

Much To Do About Nothing -Political Bashing!

Ms. Rosen doesn't work for the DNC at all, not even a consultant, just a former pundit at CNN in 2008.  The First Lady refuted the comment, as did real representatives of the DNC.  However I believe she was referring to the fact that Mrs. Romney never had to really financially struggle like millions of stay at home moms do on a daily basis because of the lack of the second, oh so necessary income that most households experience when the mother chooses to stay at home and thus she would be out of touch with the masses of stay at home moms.  

It is rather irrelevant that GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney could use his wife as a comparison to the REAL stay at home moms.

It also goes without saying that the media have jumped on the band wagon in outing Foster Friess the GOP super PAC donor for stating that he hopes that Obama's Teleprompters are bulletproof.  I really hate all this muck raking in the media.  

The real issues are overlooked, and right now I am totally disgusted with both major parties that are merely puppets to men like Foster Friess and Corporate Personhood.  


Before the hate mongers jump all over my comment about Corporate Personhood, I would like to state that I do believe in the Free Enterprise System, and admire the ingenuity of many an American like Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and Walt Disney.  However, I do not like the way Capitalism has gotten out of hand and created Monster Companies and Banks that have swallowed up the Middle Class American. I also hate how Big Corp have taken over the food industry and made America sick, and Big Corp has created reasons for medication through the media, and Big Pharma and Big Insurance Companies benefit while the paychecks of the working class Americans continuously shrink!

A Family Easter Celebration

On Easter Sunday our family had a warm and loving celebration honoring this very special day when our savior Jesus Christ overcame death to spread his message of Grace to the world.

Both my daughters and their husbands and children, my cousin Kathy and her pregnant daughter Rachaelyn with husband Garrett, and son Matthew, and my husband and I had a truly wonderful time.  The kids had an egg hunt, everyone got prizes and cash. My granddaughter Abigayle said grace at dinner.  Abby and Lilyana helped me bake, both daughters and their husbands helped with so much to make this day so special.  Even little Maggie and Jacob helped in getting the house in tip top shape.  Because I have spinal column injuries I was having a very painful week, and they all pitched in to help me with everything. I am so blessed and grateful for my family!

We had Hawaiian Ham, Stuffed Cabbage, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Asparagus, Carrots, Green Bean Medley, Cole Slaw, Deviled Eggs, Pickled Eggs, Home Baked Bread, Pistachio Pineapple Pudding, Sugar Cookies, Linzer Tarts,  Lemon Meringue Cake, Toasted Coconut Chocolate Birds-nest Cupcakes, Homemade Peanut Butter, and Coconut Cream Eggs.

The Last Installment Of Gone Fishin Friday ~ Fried Oysters

2 (8- or 10-oz.) jars or 20 freshly shucked oysters

Salt and pepper

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

3/4 cup fine cracker crumbs or dry breadcrumbs

2 eggs

2 tablespoons milk

 1/4 C olive oil

Serve with lemon wedges if desired

Directions

Drain oysters; pat dry with paper towels.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Combine flour and crumbs in a shallow bowl.
In another shallow bowl, beat together eggs and milk.
Dip seasoned oysters in crumb mixture.
Dip in egg mixture, then in crumb mixture again, coating thoroughly.

 1/4 C olive oil  in a large skillet.
Add coated oysters; pan-fry until lightly browned on one side.
Using a spatula or tongs, carefully turn and brown other side.
Do not overcook.

Crucifix That Isabel Created

I have made many Palm Crosses from the Palms that I have received on Palm Sunday at the service of my church.  I taught myself, and had no video of this process to show you.  Here is one from YouTube. However I have never cut anything from my palm to make my crosses.  The whole palm is left in tact.  I use small ones for Bible Book Marks. I hang them on the wall or drape them over my Crucifix Ceramic Plaque that was made for my late mother by our family friend the late Isabel Maslonka from my hometown of Alpha, NJ many years ago.
