Facebook Degrading Memes, Where Is The Don't Like Icon?
Another demeaning Facebook Meme circulating to defame our current President and using the founding fathers as though they were saints!
I did not "like" and to which I replied:
How about the fact that the founder thought it was okay to own humans as slaves! Not a loser, but a sin and a shame...not what Christ would do either! We have been handed down propaganda and indoctrinated since Kindergarten! Every single President and elected official has been singled out and blamed for the ills of a greedy society!
It is as if we elect them to use them as scape goats for our own short comings and complacency. Perhaps it is time for Americans to take responsibility for what goes on in their own households and stop blaming those who step up to lead in government!

Helping People Who Have Oil
I find this meme hilarious. I have also noticed that many of those who have posted this on Facebook have previously posted memes condemning the President as a Socialist who wants to give money to the poor to help them. I know one thing for sure if one wants to be popular one should never run for President! Every single President is belittled and condemned while in office. I am sure that it is Oil that truly runs our country, the children of countries who have it will have our military help and the children of those who don't like Darfur will suffer daily for years and years without end.

The Difference Between Libel and Free Speech
Libel Per Se:
When libel is clear on its face, without the need for any explanatory
matter, it is called libel per se. The following are often found to be
libelous per se:
A statement that falsely:
A statement that falsely:
• Charges any person with crime, or with having been indicted, convicted, or punished for crime;
• Imputes in him the present existence of an infectious, contagious, or loathsome disease;
• Tends directly to injure him in respect to his office, profession, trade or business, either by imputing to him general disqualification in those respects that the office or other occupation peculiarly requires, or by imputing something with reference to his office, profession, trade, or business that has a natural tendency to lessen its profits
• Imputes to him impotence or a want of chastity.
Free Speech:
Freedom of speech is the political right to communicate one's
opinions and ideas using one's body and property to anyone who is
willing to receive them. The term freedom of expression is
sometimes used synonymously, but includes any act of seeking, receiving
and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used. In
practice, the right to freedom of speech is not absolute in any country
and the right is commonly subject to limitations, as with libel, slander, obscenity, sedition (including, for example inciting ethnic hatred), copyright violation, revelation of information that is classified or otherwise.

Why I Haven't Posted In Awhile
This is why I haven't posted in awhile:
I bought a new home in a lovely gated lake community. It required some slight rehab work, mostly paint, and then the move after living in the same home for ten years. We have been extremely busy, and still so much to do. We aren't even completely out of the old home yet. We still have the entire lower level to rehab, both bathrooms, the deck, shed, and yard. I purchased the necessary components to create a water garden, and my daughter is going to help create it with my direction. Hope you enjoy looking at this photo slide of the transformation of some of the rooms.

God's Wings
When you can't control the wind, adjust your sails!!! This is so beautiful-make sure you read to the bottom. The painters of these Feathers are outstanding, But the message below the Feathers,
"God's Wings," will touch your heart.
God's Wings
After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park , forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno's damage. One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree. Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick. When he gently struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother's wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise. She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies. Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, the mother had remained steadfast...because she had been willing to die, so those under the cover of her wings would live. 'He will cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you will find refuge.' (Psalm 91 : 4) My instructions were to send this to people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you. Please pass this on to people you want to be blessed. Time waits for no one. Treasure every moment you have. You will treasure it even more when you can share it with someone Special. To realize the value of a Friend...lose one.
